A light-bodied, smooth cup which beams with sweet-floral notes right from the start. Radiant, lively tones; reminiscent of fuchsia peonies and Asiatic lilies envelop the palate and hum along throughout the length of the cup. Towards the middle, sumptuous accents of muskmelon and vine peach are discernible; rendering a layer of depth and mellow texture to the liquor. Muted fresh-green accents shore up towards the back, which however ebb to finish on a luminous fragrance of hyacinths, making for a distinguished feel on the palate.The second steep recommended at 4 minutes is equally enjoyable and brings forth delectable notes of muscat-grape and calisson, making for a truly sublime cup of Spring Oolong from Darjeeling.
