    KNOW YOUR TEA

The iconic Banaspaty tea garden, situated deep in the valleys of Karbi Anglong, is one of the first certified organic tea gardens in Assam. In sync with the surrounding natural flora and fauna, the garden has been awarded for being the first 'Elephant Friendly Tea Garden' in Assam. Situated close to the Kaziranga National Park, the famous one-horned rhino is a common sight near the tea garden. With its high-quality Assam hybrid bushes, the estate produces top-notch quality teas with the rich alluvial soil of the Brahmaputra valley imparting the tea with a unique flavor profile. We have sampled this gorgeous Indian single malt, the golden tippy orthodox tea. Full-bodied, brisk with delectable notes of malt greet the palate. Hints of yellow raisins, and date palm encircle around the middle with candied-fruity accents of nougat coming in the aftertaste. A distinguished experience of Indian Summer Harvest 2022!

    taste

A full-bodied, robust Assam cup which beams with deletable notes of malt right from the start and hum along throughout the length of the liquor. Towards the middle, subtle sweet tones akin to yellow raisins and date palm are discernible; adding more variety and vivacious intensity to the cup. Subtle candied-fruity accents shore up towards the finish, which however ebb to finish on velvety notes of nougat; making for a distinguished experience of Assam orthdox from this Organic plantation.
