    KNOW YOUR TEA

A boutique private tea garden tucked away in the village of Bermiok in the Indian state of Sikkim, Bermiok Tea Estate lies amidst the pristine Himalayan region. Located in India’s 100% Organic state and made from the first plucking of the season from mid-elevation clonal cultivars, this exquisite Bermiok Spring Black tea makes for a special treat. Exclusive to Teabox, this tea is handcrafted using a combination of western and traditional tea-making techniques to bring out the woody aromas of the virgin Himalayan forests. Unique vegetal notes along with light tropical fruity accents add a pleasant texture to the cup. The aftertaste is of stone fruits, making for an exceptional experience of organic first flush 2021.

A medium-bodied, lively cup which feels ample in the mouth and starts with distinct vegetal notes which hum along throughout and defines the flavor profile of the liquor. Light tropical fruity accents similar to cantaloupe are discernible towards the middle, rendering a pleasant texture to the cup. Subtle undertones of fresh legumes shore up around the edges which however subside to finish on soft nutty tinctures akin to hazelnuts. Delectable stone-fruity accents can be picked up in the aftertaste, making for a memorable experience of Organic black tea from this boutique estate.
