Castleton Moonlight Spring White Tea
description
This year we were drawn to the subtlety of Castleton’s white tea. A late-harvest tea, it has the characteristic floral flavor that's expected from all top-of-the-line Darjeeling whites. Two notes – jasmine and geranium – come together perfectly, and deliver a superlative white tea experience. You can steep this cup twice and relish the delight one more time.
the experience

liquor
aroma
Lifted note of geranium, lily, ripe stone fruits followed by gentle green undertones
appearance
Light gold
taste
The liquor is predominantly sweet, smooth coupled with a brightness which commands your attention right from the start. A pleasant floral length, characterised by white flowers - mainly geranium and jasmine defines the aromatic profile of the cup. There is a nuanced undercurrent of sweet greens which comes in around the edges and rounds up the cup beautifully. Taking up the experience a notch higher is the lingering aftertaste of rose. The second steep is just as flavorful.
