Donyi Polo Special Summer Oolong Tea
An unusual oolong, resembling a white tea, and with sweet, vegetal and woody flavors.
Donyi Polo in Arunachal Pradesh was planted in 1986, the first tea garden in this state. Three major variety of tea plants - Assamica, Chinary and Cambodia are grown here. This tea, an oolong, is made from a mix of China and Assam clones. It's quite a non-traditional oolong, and resembles a white tea in character, with sweet vegetal and woody flavors.
