Tasting Notes

From our Chief Tea Taster
Submit
Aroma
Marked by notes of malt, dates with hint of high-fire.
Appearance
Dark Amber
Taste
A robust, lively cup which beams with delectable notes of malt right from the start and mingles with sweet tones of dates towards the middle to give a well-rounded feel and vivacious intensity on the palate.

Furtive high-fired tints interlaced with cocoa-like accents are discernible along the edges, which however ebb to finish on malty undertones.Try this with a dash of milk for an invigorating experience.

Straight-ahead tea

Nice caffeine boost, straight-forward tea flavor. It had a slight aftertaste I don't have the vocabulary to define, which I thought at first I didn't like, but then decided I liked it fine. A good first-thing-in-the-morning tea.

Delicious

Only when we started drinking this did we realise how plain normal black tea tastes and coffee shops don’t offer anything except what you would get at home. It’s an amazing tea which we look forward to each day.

The perfect tea!

I love this tea. And no bags or boxes to recycle.

excellent tea, quality service

My tea arrived very quickly from its origin to the United States. The box came well packed against the elements, and the tea itself was vacuum-packed and came with an extra, resealable bag to help keep the freshness. This Irish breakfast blend is excellent! It's a strong taste but not overpowering or bitter. I take it with a bit of sugar, and it's a fantastic way to start my day.

Refreshing

I Did not realise how bland conventional tea bags were until I tasted this, so full of flavours and so fresh tasting, I have shared some and get the same positive response, my new everyday tea !

I’m done searching

I’m a lifelong tea drinker. I’m partial to robust black teas but I’m equally fond of both green and white teas.
This is the first product review I’ve ever done. I’m forever a devotee of your company and teas. The Irish black tea is, hands down, the best smelling & tasting I’ve ever had. Your Jasmine and your Green Teas are absolutely amazing.
Shipping is so fast.

Excellent product, excellent service

I have ordered from Teabox before and will continue to do so. The tea is of much better quality than other options and the company is so helpful and easy to use.

Tea is magnificent.

I’ve 3 tried 3 flavours of tea from Teabox now, each one distinct, flavourful and far superior to any tea I’ve ever tasted before. As an Irishman, that’s a serious compliment. If you haven’t tried their Assam teas I implore to try the Pekoe Orange Assam flavour. Delicious and malty notes add to the taste.
