Kanyam Classic Spring Black Tea
A Darjeeling-like black tea, only less intimidating and easy to drink.
Spring teas from Nepal are typically assertive and increasingly brisk. But, this pick from Kanyam tea estate surprised us with its lovely fluid flavors. It tastes fresh, bright, and flows with a restraint that’s quite enjoyable.
Slightly baked and marked by soft notes of fennel, licorice, and nuts.
Mix of well-rolled, pale, greenish-black, brown-hued leaves with few pale green, silver haired buds and bright green leaf cuttings.
Dominant note of waxy red flower with hints of fresh nuts
