description
From the several batches we tasted, this one came up on top easily. Its vibrant aromas catch on to you right from the start and turn into superlative flavors as it hits the palate. With a mellow yet ample liquor, the sharpness of the cup is enjoyable. Dominant fruity notes like muskmelons and mandarins liven up the experience right from the start and stay on throughout. It gains a certain depth with brief subtle green undertones mixed with raw fruity hints. A nutty finish gives way to reveal an especially high note of citron that is definitely unique.

The liquor is mellow, feels ample in the mouth and pleasantly brisk. Pronounced fruity notes, redolent of muskmelon and mandarin can be perceived right at the start, which hum along throughout the length of the cup. Light green undercurrents shore up briefly around the edges joined by subtle raw fruity accents; rendering a layer of depth and vibrancy to the liquor. Furtive nutty flavors come through towards the end, which however ebb to finish on an invigorating note of citron, making for a memorable cup of Spring black tea from this iconic estate.
