Refreshing, Rejuvenating, Re-energizing

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Anytime.

It is like spring season in a cup. It has quite complex flavor with hints of green tea. It is delicate and requires careful temperature control for proper brewing. If you use water hotter than allowable or steep 10 sec more, it just goes awfully bitter. Properly brewed it is sweet with floral aroma and hints of firewood

Excellent black tea

Likes : Great Aroma, Smooth Body.

Best Served : Anytime, Afternoon.

This black tea is sweet and has a fresh citrus-y aroma. It is very drinkable, and can be served any time. It has a nice strength, and doesn't get bitter for a long time.

This is the first tea from your company that I have tried. I am a big fan of oolong tea but was willing to try a black tea again. I was surprised to still see green hues in the tea leaves like oolong. Out of the three black teas in my subscription this was my favorite. No sweeteners, I like my teas straight. S. B.

Love it!

When I read about Darjeelings, this is exactly what I expected - a zip of green, an aroma of fruit/oolong, and the body of a black tea. A really great first flush, the taste is consistent, solid, and grounded. There is a leafy taste, but it's not overpowering. The fruit taste is light but very present. A perfect break time tea; sit down, relax, enjoy it and then you're left with enough pep to be productive (even if that means just making progress in a good book)!

Almost a bit green

Likes : Great Aroma, Smooth Body.

Best Served : Anytime.

When you look at the leaves, it may be a bit surprising that this is in fact a black tea. It almost looks like a mixture of black and green tea, and it pretty must tastes that way too. It was a very plesent cup of tea, but very far from a breakfast tea.

I really enjoy its special tastes, for me they are new and not classic. I find them pleasing and refreshing - some family members did not so much like it. I enjoy it very much in the evening and noon

Warm and Tangy

Likes : Freshness, Unique Flavor Profile.

1. It's greenish with bits and pieces of oxidised leaves, gives off a nice aroma of wood and old books. 2. Steeped into a slightly paler Nigerian Sunset, with a nice tangy flavour (Wild Berries, I can picture blackberry or boysenberry which are naturally tangier than the other berry family), a vegetal after taste (Lily). Aroma wise it's much vegetal (Sweet Pea) and fresh. 3. A nice brew to enjoy while reading, a warm cuppa for the raining season (in my area right now). Sweet and Mellow

Likes : Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile.

Best Served : Afternoon.

A very enjoyable spring Darjeeling. Throughout there is a mellow sweetness and a kind of warmth, like sunshine on stone fruit. There was no trace of bitterness but just a trace of dryness at the finish.

Classic

Likes : Great Aroma, High Quality.

Their own description of this tea is accurate - a brisk first flush taste without any bitterness. The muscatel aroma was refreshing, and delicious. Nothing to not like about it, very solid. In my estimation, this is the kind of tea that helps form Darjeeling's reputation world wide.
