Glenburn Special Spring Oolong Tea

description

Intensely sweet, fruity and floral, there is much to relish in this clonal oolong. Followers of the Darjeeling tea will find a close resemblance to the spring flush black tea. However, the complex yet smooth and free flowing liquor clearly spells oolong.

Complex Palate of Spring Aromas

Likes : Freshness, High Quality.

Best Served : Morning, Afternoon.

Aromas of light fresh cut grass with a very light palate. Tannis are present but do not appear till the end. The finish is light but lingering.

Very delicate tea with definitely a floral taste. Beautiful colour in the cup and can take a longer steeping time than others. Liked it very much but not sure I would purchase at the full price.

A good cup of tea.

This tea has a unique pleasant flavor and aroma. It is not a classic ff, but it is arromatic. Flavor is a bit muted. So, this is best drunk plain. It is a good tea to try, but not the best value at the normal price. There are much better teas for the price. I would recommend if you are looking for something different, but try a sample first.

Quite Enjoyable

Likes : High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile.

Use 2 tsp for this tea; it is light-weight, and hard to oversteep. The aroma is unique, the texture and flavor are multi-layered, and it leaves a lingering aftertaste. Definitely will take note of this tea and hope they keep it in their lineup.

Delicate and subtle

I very much enjoyed looking at the silvery leaves before I brewed this tea in anticipation. Like the tea itself the leaves are extremely delicate and pretty. Once brewed it I was able to appreciate its lightness and complete harmony.

Delicacy incarnate

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Smooth Body.

Dislikes : Weak.

Best Served : Anytime.

This is an ethereal tea, delicate and suitable to be savoured in contemplation. Flavoursome, aromatic, gentle, it can be steeped a couple of times before it goes flat. If I had to note a fault, it is a rather weak body. But this is a watercolour rather than an oil painting.
