Pleasant enough but not great for me

Likes : Freshness, Smooth Body.

Best Served : Afternoon.

This is a light, fresh tea, which is not as intense as some black teas. There is more of a grassy, vegetable taste, which is nice for a change but not really my preference. But as ever this tea is fresh, flavorsome, without any aggressive qualities and no worrisome aftertaste. Some will love this, but it is not a fave for me.

Not bad, simple chill tea

Detailed, fresh tea. Not perfect but still a perfectly good tea.

Earthy

Likes : Freshness, Unique Flavor Profile.

Best Served : Anytime.

The aroma when dry is very earthy, although the taste is less earthy and much more sweet actually. I was a little skeptical based on the aroma alone, but after steeping, I was pleasantly surprised at the sweetness in the flavor after all.

Down to your taste preferences

Likes : High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Anytime.

The notes on the tea aroma & taste are fairly spot on. Can be a bit bitter - probably works as stated (good with honey/lemon, although I haven't tried that yet). If you like a vegetable-esque aftertaste, this one is for you. It's great quality, it just depends on what you like. Got it with a subscription.

Bright and brisk

Likes : Freshness.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Afternoon.

This is a love bright Darjeeling, on the green side. Astringent if steeped too long. Slightly on the stronger side and good for an afternoon pick up.

Lovely!

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile.

Originally when this tea came I was hesitant. The description of it having a 'Citrus' and 'Sweet greens' palate was off putting. I decided to give it a go and am happy that I did! I found this tea to be very delicious and strong in taste. Only downfall is that it is very high in caffeine so it is more of a morning tea rather than evening. While steeping, I wasn't sold out on its aroma, but was pleasantly surprised after I took the first sip. The mild taste complemented the aroma well and I enjoyed the cup thoroughly.

Bright, Summery

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile.

A very interesting tea-- the aroma is supposed to be cooked spinach and yellow flowers, and from that I read a definite freshness. The taste is even more bright and fresh, definitely more like a nice light salad instead of earthy. It's definitely got a decent amount of caffeine but was very tolerable. This is one of my favorite green teas that I have tried so far. Reviewed as part of theTeabox subscription program.

good tea but I prefer a more floral flavor

Likes : Freshness, Smooth Body.

Best Served : Anytime.

Grassy and fresh as the packaging describes. This tea is excellent for what it is, but I prefer more citrusy/floral teas. It is very smooth and doesn't get bitter, which is nice, but this tea just isn't for me

Although I was skeptical at first when I saw there was Dandelion in the aroma and palate, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it made the tea naturally sweet! It was as if someone had already placed a dash of honey in my tea! Wonderful. Reviewed as part of theTeabox subscription program.

Best First Flush!

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality.

Best Served : Afternoon.

Definitely the best first flush tea that I purchased from Teabox. The flowery/grassy aroma is simply wonderful. Flavor is quite fruity with just the right amount of astringency that is typical to high qualty first flush Darjeeling. This tea has a long finish that lingers with you. Don't add any milk but a bit of sugar is fine if you want to balance the astringency. A truly enjoyable tea!

Dandelion heaven

Likes : Great Aroma, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Anytime.

This is a really fun tea to explore. It's full of unexpected flavours and although I did read the teabox supplied tasting notes prior to brewing my first cup, I was still surprised to discover a whole field of dandelions in my cup! To a Darjeeling novice like me this is such a great surprise. I never thought Darjeelings could taste like this! There are so many other flavours such as honey, a rich grassiness and citrus aspects with the mineral notes to support the finish. Just be careful not to oversteep or use more than the recommended amount of tea leaves per cup. Oversleeping or increased quantities promptly result in bitterness and all the lovely dandelions are gone.

I'm in love with your Mim!

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Anytime, Afternoon, Evening.

I came a cross Mim's Darjeeling years ago, and instantly fell in love with it then. The Mim First flush that Teabox offers only serves to reinforce that love. The greatest thing about this Darjeeling is the aftertaste. It's almost as if there is a switch that flips on, which then activates a smooth, slightly malty, very mellow taste that lingers on the palate. Though the aftertaste is the best part of Mim, there are other qualities to praised about the tea as well. It has a nice aroma, is very fresh, and boasts of a light astringency to round out some of the complexity of the tea. If you're new to Darjeeling teas, this is a must to try. If you're not new, then you'll adore Mim.
