Nepal Breakfast Tea

description

This is a handcrafted blend made from the best summer flush teas from Nepal. While clearly tannic and strong, we enjoy it for its textures more than flavors. A tea like this makes for great brunch time sipping.

Lovely and different

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile.

Best Served : Anytime, Morning, Afternoon.

I agree some of the other reviews that this isn't necessarily a breakfast tea, but it is a lovely anytime tea. It has a different flavour profile than most- floral with a bit of pine. It isn't full or rich like some other black teas but is perfect when you're in the mood for something "off the beaten track". It's a great price for a high-quality, fresh tea. Try it on days you want something a bit different that isn't overly strong or bold.

Great morning tea.

Likes : Great Aroma.

Best Served : Morning.

Slightly astringent with an uplifting aroma. I really enjoy this tea when I'm up early and coffee is too acidic.

Good tea to have with a meal

Tea leaves smell great, with a hint of chili. High quality and fresh. Should definitely avoid over-steeping.

A decent black tea but not for breakfast

Likes : Great Aroma, Smooth Body.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Afternoon.

I liked this tea. The dry leaves smell amazing and it makes a nice and smooth cup but I don't feel this tea tastes like a traditional breakfast tea. There is a kind of floral note to it that I really just didn't care for. I could see myself drinking this tea occasionally when I want something different but I don't feel it would become a staple for me. I also just don't think this should really be called a breakfast tea. This tea is better for the afternoon.

A good taste, but not a breakfast tea

Likes : High Quality.

Dislikes : Weak.

Best Served : Afternoon, Evening.

Maybe I'm just very selective about my breakfast teas but I don't think this is strong enough to be a breakfast tea. It has a good black tea taste but I need something more substantial to get me out of bed in the morning

There was nothing wrong with this tea. It tasted fine just different from other teas of the same variety I am used to.

Astringent Breakfast Blend

Likes : Freshness, Smooth Body, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile.

Best Served : Morning.

The first time I had this was with buttered toast; the second time was with eggs. I definitely like it better with eggs. For me, the astringency of this tea would be good to balance a rich breakfast that include savory items like eggs and meat. I get floral and green notes in the aroma, and I do taste the green chili and pine (suggested on the packet). Smooth palate with thin, dry finish.

Refreshing, but a little bitter

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

The dry tea has a somewhat peculiar smell, but tastes quite good when brewed according to instructions. It is a little bitter, even when brewed the suggested amount of time, but is still tasty. Reviewed as part of the Teabox subscription program.

Nepal Breakfast

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Even though I over-steeped this tea the first time, I did like the aroma of wild flowers. It is a bit on the bitter side, and compared to the other two breakfast tea samples, I did not like that it was not naturally sweet. I will try the tea again, and hopefully it will not be bitter when steeped to the right time.

Great morning tea.

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Weak.

Not an overly strong tea. I usually drink espresso in the morning so I'm used to quite a strong flavor. However I quite enjoyed the aroma and the taste. This was by far my favorite tea so far.

Лучший для меня из чая для завтрака

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile.

Best Served : Morning, Afternoon.
