Punjabi Masala Chai

description

It’s unlikely that you’ve tasted a masala chai like this one before. Unusually strong for a masala chai, it includes Bishop’s Weed and black cardamom – two of the strongest spices from north India – that lend a powerful kick to the brew, even with the addition of milk.

Strong Masala Chai

Best Served : Morning, Dessert Tea.

I prepare this tea with milk and sugar because the flavour is very strong. I like it as a spicy dessert tea! It smells incredibly good and spicy, and I love the way all the spices blend together in every sip. For some reason I feel warm and "full" after drinking a few cups!

I've tried a handful of Teabox's chai and the Punjabi is with out a doubt the best (so far). Very aromatic with a strong punch - just wish it had a bit of black pepper in it, as well. This will be my "go to" chai. And quick shipping - from India to NYC in four days delivered! Great job all around, Teabox!

Smooth and rousing chai

Best Served : Anytime.

A most delicious chai, the cardamon is the dominant flavour, but is not overpowering and the other spices blend together to form an overarching flavour greater than the sum of its parts.
