I love this chai

This is probably the best chai I've ever had. I've liked every chai I've gotten from teabox, but this takes the cake (er.. the cup?).

Sweet almond spice :)

I always refer to this tea as "sweet almond spice chai" because that describes it the best. It is unique for the nutty taste combined with some traditional chai spices. Very warm, rich and full of complex flavours. Perfect comfort for a cold morning :)

Love this tea! It could get by on its smell alone!

Likes : Great Aroma, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile.

I love spicy chai teas (in fact, that is my favorite type of tea). So, when I smelled this tea I knew I was in for a good ride. While the smell is definitely better than the taste, the taste is nothing to complain about! This tea is super tasty and mixes very well with other teas. I found a combination I really enjoy is when this tea is blended 50/50 with the Tulsi Ginger Chai tea. Fantastic!

utterly delicious- like a mug of biscuits!

This is the perfect desert or evening tea, the flavours blend beautifully to give a delicious sweet biscuity experience. It takes milk well - making it creamier and smoother than when taken plain. Utterly delectable and highly recommended.

A cup of ginger/almond/cinnamon deliciousness; versatile blend!

The first inhale I took from the opened bag instantly brought to mind a paper cup filled with deliciously foamy chai ready to tickle my lips with its frothy liquid. Steeped into a milk-chocolate brown liquor, the notes of ginger, almond, and cinnamon complement each other delightfully. With its hint of spice in the aroma as you bring the cup to your lips to its rich decadent body, this tea is a great morning and afternoon indulgence. With its ability to be drunk straight from the bag or with additions of honey and milk, I recommend this blend as a great versatile tea. Its is made with a base of black tea leaves, chai spices, and thick almond slices. Quite an inviting cup!

An interesting chai tea, not too strong, with a unique almond-ginger-cinnamon taste. Takes sweeteners, milk, cream and butter very well. Worth trying!

This tea is really special for cold days! It warms body and mind. It has nice sweet and malty aroma that relaxes and make me forget about stressfull workday. I can feel chocolate and cinnamon bark and even coffee notes in it: the smell of this tea is deep but delicate and well balanced. I think that this tea is a perfect way to finish the day or to shake off busy thoughts. And it is great with a spoon of honey or some sweets!

Great chai!

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma.

This chai is a well blended mix of vanilla and cinnamon. The warming cinnamon compliments the mellow flavor notes of the vanilla very well. It is especially enjoyable to drink ok on a cold winter say. I share this tea with all my friends and they really seem to love it. I am going to be buying more of this again soon. I am already running low!!!

Wonderful, one of my favourite Chais

This is an excellent chai, and as I have had a sample pack I have tried nearly all of them. The almond hint works really complementing the ginger. Best made with lots of milk, honey and sugar boiled up together.

Different, good for a change from regular tea's

Likes : Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile.

Almond flavour was unique, mild ginger aroma added to the charm. Would not consider having this regularly, but it would be nice to have it once in a while for a change or when accompanied with friend simply to have something unsual and nice.

This is a favorite of mine. Quite a delicate chai, with a lovely balance of spice and toasted almond. It's like having a delicately spiced biscuit with your cup of tea.

Good coffee alternative

Likes : Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile.

Best Served : Morning, Dessert Tea.

Wonderful almond aroma. The almonds dominant the flavor profile so it was difficult to pick up on the other spices. Overall reminds me of a almond-flavored coffee. Smooth and great with milk. I'm only giving it a low rating because it doesn't fit what I would consider a Chai style.

Warm, Tasty and Not Overpowering

Sometimes chai can be...well... a bit strong. With it's aromatic "in your face" spices and it's CTC base, the usual chai can be brash, bold and "take no prisoners" strong. 2014 Special Winter Spice Chai is a wonderful alternative to the usual chai. Using leaf tea (instead of CTC) and adding almonds with gentle chai spicing, this tea is a quiet cup of chai for contemplative moments when "BAM!" isn't on your list of things to do today. It is a smooth and flavorful chai with all the usual spices, but balanced with the tea and almonds in a way that it will remind you of eating spice cake. Worthy of a purchase.

Almond Chai

Dislikes : Weak.

Best Served : Anytime.

* This was nice but not a favorite. * The almonds were predominant in the taste. If you're looking for a strong almond flavor component you will probably like this particular chai. * The ginger flavoring was very subtle. * I brewed from a sample pack and prepared in the same manner other chais had been wonderful and I thought this was weak. If I had more than a sample, I would have re-brewed and steeped for a longer period of time. Consider a longer steeping time.

A cheerful chai

This is a nice warm chai. The nuts give it a delightful quick bread taste. It's a very solid choice. Not my personal number one chai, but a great winter treat that rounds out any tea collection.
