Indian Breakfast Tea

description

Made from a selection of brisk Assam black teas, the flavors in this blend are crisp, strong, and assertive, and that's just what you hope from your cup of tea in the mornings. And while this tea is best enjoyed with honey and lime, it accommodates the addition of milk well.

The tea starts out clean but turns big, brisk and astringent quickly. Soft notes of malt and dried drupe are discernible in the middle, although astringency dominates much of the cup. The aftertaste is of tree fruit.

Sweet and strong

I got this tea in the breakfast collection and of the teas included, consider this to be the sweetest one. It's rich and bold and full of flavor and malt. The package lists "pudding" as one of the palate descriptions. I love this tea and find it to be a very pleasant way to start my morning!

Strongest, sweetest, maltiest breakfast tea available

Likes : Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile.

Best Served : Morning.

By far the strongest, sweetest and maltiest breakfast tea on offer. A fuller, plumier flavour than the Assam Breakfast and much maltier than the English Breakfast. To put it bluntly, its not only the most delicious of the breakfast teas- its also like getting an intravenous shot of pure caffeine.

love the fragrance of the tea! I have mine with a few spoons of sugar and a slightly lesser amount of leaves per cup (1 spoon rather than 1.5 spoons per cup). tastes great!

Great Breakfast Tea

Color is dark but clear. Scent smells of black tea but has a strong hint of flowers. Taste is is a lot like the smell, but with a fruit like aftertaste. Very strong which makes it great for breakfast.

really enjoyed the aroma and taste of plum in this tea. The aroma is very earthy and wholesome, and the sweet taste is pleasant. I am glad this is a tea that does not need sugar or honey to make it sweet. I also discovered if you over-steep, the tea flavor seems to stay the same. Overall, a wonderful morning, afternoon, or evening tea.

Great with a splash of sugar or plain

Best Served : Morning.

This is a great alternative to Coffee. It has a very robust flavor and produces a delicate liquor when brewed correctly. I especially liked the deep-crimson color of the finished product. I was able to brew these leaves approx. 2-3 times before the flavor dissipated which I thought was a pretty quality outcome. I drink this tea every morning now for breakfast and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It has a very smooth body overall and I also like how fresh the tea was by the time I received it. A great tea for beginner and expert tea drinkers alike!

Excellent with Breakfast

Likes : Smooth Body.

This tea has a fruity aroma like raisins or plums and a rich smooth body with a slightly sweet rich plum-like flavor. I think of fruitcake. Strong but very smooth. I love this tea with a more substantial breakfast than something like fruit and yogurt.

The taste is somewhat similar to the standard English breakfast tea, but it tastes fresh (which I didn't know was missing from those other teas)
