Easy on the mind and body

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, High Quality.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Anytime.

I'd suggest this to be one of those occasions to relaxing with a tv show or even reading a book outside with cause it has that very classic taste to it. Not very sweet but it was fresh and amazing when outside enjoying it. Suggest not to over steep it, the flavor can get very bold and might need to be put in a bigger cup. All in all a great tea worth trying.

LOVE Upper Namring Exotic Spring Blac Black

Just loved everything about this tea - leaves looked great and fresh - upon steeping I loved the aroma and the taste was smooth and nice - comforting. It was the first tea I opened and went back to it the next few days - LOVE IT!!! Reviewed as part of theTeabox subscription program.

Beautiful tea to start the day

Likes : Freshness, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Weak, Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Anytime, Morning.

While the tea didn't wow me the first time I drank it, over time it snuck up on me. I found myself turning to brew this in the morning when I needed a reminder that good things (i.e. tea) come with a new day. Sadly I'm down to my last cup. The flavour was light, fresh, slightly grassy, and not typical of a black tea at all. It's sweet without beeing overwhelming. The tea serves well as a pick-me-up. The tea was a little weak if not brewed carefully. Make sure to give this tea the attention it deserves when you're brewing it!

Pure, and beautifully scented

**April 3, 2016** For me this tea was delicate but flavorful--nutty and floral. It had a smooth, medium-to-full body and virtually no bitterness or astringency. It also smelled amazing when brewed! It's also a much lighter taste and color than you're probably used to seeing in a black tea. I used: 2.5 grams tea in 6 oz water at 194 degrees F, steeped for 5 minutes

A delicious, light black

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile.

This is a light tea that shares more in common with a darjeeling than a strong black. It is wonderful on it's own, and takes well to multiple steepings. Reviewed as part of theTeabox subscription program.

A new favorite

This was a delightful surprise in subscription boxes full of green tea lately. I was uncertain about it when it was brewing, with its very earthy aroma, but the flavor was lovely, with a note of sweetness and subtle flavor.

A strong tea with a grassy/earthy aroma.

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma.

This tea is exactly what you would expect out of a grassy and earthy tea, which is pretty much the beauty of it. I wouldn't necessarily call it simple, but it's comforting if steeped properly and a wake-up call when over-steeped. Reviewed as part of theTeabox subscription program.

I really enjoy anything citrus, so to have a tea with citrus inside is amazing! I love the aroma of honey, and the mango is adds a special finish to the palate. I have yet to try adding anything to this tea, but it tastes great plain! Reviewed as part of theTeabox subscription program.

This tea was great! It has a really nice smell and color. By far my favorite so far. I wish it had more caffine for morning drinks. I prefered drinking this tea in the afternoon after lunch/ Reviewed as part of theTeabox subscription program.

I love this delicate tea

Despite the pale golden liquor, this tea has a very refreshing taste, with light hints of citrus. I'm drinking this during a New England winter, but it instantly makes me think of a spring garden.

A gentle flavored tea best with delicate flavored foods.

Won't stand up to milk and sugar, but is pleasant on its own. It has a slight astringent character that dries the throat.

Not an exceptional tea, but a good tea. Has a great aroma, and a flavor that can be a bit week, but find a great balance as a definitive flavored back tea that is not too flavored.

Nice aftertaste

Likes : Freshness.

Dislikes : Weak.

This is probably the mildest tea that I have received so far. The color and taste are rather light. In fact, I'd probably increase the amount of leaves when I have it next. The interesting part is the sweet aftertaste. Reviewed as part of theTeabox subscription program.

Smooth, refreshing and clean tasting.

Likes : Freshness, Smooth Body, High Quality.

Best Served : Afternoon, Evening, Dessert Tea.

A wonderful clean and refreshing tea. I want to say 'crisp' but that suggests some astringency or sharpness, neither of which are present. Perhaps 'pure' would be a better word?! It is very, very smooth with a natural, subtle sweetness. I have to mention the leaves themselves... They are thin and tightly rolled, opening into perfectly formed leaves. The quality of picking and processing is obvious. If you like Darjeeling, this is a VERY good example. Takes a second steep very well with a similar profile.

Subtle and sweet

This tea had an aroma of warm spice. The flavor was sweet and floral with a slight note of mint. The finish was long with an astringency perfectly balanced with old rose. Reviewed as part of the Teabox subscription program.

Great darjeeling

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality.

Wonderful, sweet aroma. Honey and citrus, but not as fruity as for instance jungpana clonal black. Taste not too "in your face", but delicately sweet and fruity. Citrus. Finish fresh, citrus, lingering, but nor very strong. Only surpassed by jungpana clonal black for me so far.

A very enjoyable Darjeeling

I found the liquid to be more green in color than black teas usually are. It has a very smooth flavor and a pleasant lingering fruity aftertaste. I usually prefer my teas with sugar but this one did not require any. No bitterness at all.

The aroma of this tea is exceptional.

Likes : Freshness, Great Aroma, High Quality.

Best Served : Afternoon.

I have been waiting for the 2015 year and this year was fine. The flavor is a bit weak considering how good the aroma is. This is a tea to be savored. A bit pricey but you can tell the exceptional quality. The floral taste with slight sweetness is sublime. Be careful brewing this tea. You have to experiment a bit to get the right balance of flavor.

Surprisingly fresh, packaged with great care, beautiful colored leaves. Flavor is very subtle, (using 1-2 tsp for 2 cups), mild but exquisite aroma. Tends to be a little bitter if overstepped. Overall an exciting tea, but I did prefer the Namring second flush (summer) even better for its delicious flavor. Buying direct from this company is a pleasure and a privilege.
