Originally under the ownership of Maharaja Pradip Chandra Bhanj Deo, the king of Mayurbhanj, who was a respected philosopher and reformer of his state. The estate is now under the management of Tea Promoters India since 2015. Under their stewardship, a modern tea factory has been erected, ensuring sustained production of premium-grade tea.
