Got this tea on a great sale recently. I almost wondered if it would live up to expectations due to it having a strong discount. On first brew, I was pleasantly surprised. Typical deep malty lushness with light astringency/mouth feel & a rich dark color. I see it’s sold out now. Glad I got it & ready to try some of the others I picked up.
I always purchased tea bags until l got all these different types, flavours of different tea. I look forward to each cup. Wondering what it will be like. I’d give 20/10 if it were possible. The cup keeps the tea hot a lot and than a normal cup.
I can highly recommend that you should purchase this.
Wanted something different this evening so finally opened the one special spring white in my tea sampler box & wasn’t disappointed. Light & fresh, it brewed up a brilliant yellow-gold. The tasting notes claimed cantaloupe but thankfully, I couldn’t detect that (I hate cantaloupe ha-ha). I was surprised that you appear to need more of these leaves - it said about 3 tsps per cup. It does appear to be more loosely packed, so that may be why you get fewer teaspoons per spoonful. Anyway, a good option for something different.
Would like to recommend the Teabox , as I am over the moon with my Indian Trial Pack, love the high quality tea and variety plus the tea glass makes the tea even more tasty . Cannot wait to place my next order when I have finished my trial pack probably very soon . Also love the customer care and updates and letter and dole with the delivery.
Having just received my first full order of Assams & breakfast black teas (as opposed to the trial pack I first got), the Irish breakfast was the first I tried. Strong & malty, as this tea is frequently described, it was not quite as dark as I expected but was really delicious, leaving you thinking about another cup. And see, now I’m thinking about tomorrow morning’s brew.
I have only made it thru 3 varieties in the sampler box and I can already say this…Fresh, Authentic, closest experience to drinking Chai in India since I left, and I get to be the chai walla bringing that experience/ritual into my daily life and sharing with friends/family.
Enjoying the taster box of tea. After two samples we already decided to order more tea. Have not decided yet which ones to order. The teas definitely taste fresh and wholesome. Well done to All.
Excellent items
Quality tea
Great customer service
Best decision I've made in years buying this tea no going back to supermarket or other online sites
Amazing teabox
☕ Thank you.
I’d carefully steeped my first cup of my classic Assam trial pouch. Beautiful , steaming deep golden brown. But I was greedy - I wanted to get every drop out of the infuser cup so I tilted it, coaxing gravity to give me another few drops - when it slipped. I grabbed. Too hard. In a flash the whole beautiful brew was on the counter & floor. What a waste. My next attempt was more successful &.yielded the rich, strong, malty cup I’d been expecting. Will order more. And will be more careful!
Since I've always enjoy geranium as a herb, this white tea sparked my curiosity. I've ordered 3 boxes thinking to gift them and I'm glad I did because this blend is a journey on its own that must be shared!
The delicate taste and yet powerfull geranium aroma enveloping you in what you could imagine as an aromatic bath of the senses....
Yes, you will wish, you could bath in it for real!
Until then, I can and I must recommend this blend to everybody seeking a caressing journey for your senses ;)
Very impressed with tea, service, pack and delivery. .
I’m a coffee drinker, my wife drinks tea bags.
We’re both trying these teas and are very impressed.
Experiencing flavours that we never expected.
I’m now a tea and coffee drinker!
So impressed we’ve already placed a second order.
I have tried several of them, as my sleeping, relaxtion, and focus are the main issues I struggle with.
ALL OF THEM MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
That's not something I can often say. Well done!
I decided to treat myself after Christmas and I am very happy with the package that was delivered. I have only tried one variety so far, and it was very pleasing. The cup is great to drink from keeping the tea nice and hot. I look forward to continuing to sample the other varieties and I would definitely recommend to any other tea drinkers 😊
This was the 4th Spring Chinary Black tasted from my sampler pack (see Castleton, Okayti, & Goomtee). With my limited tasting experience, I can’t claim to taste major differences but all have been good. Still getting used to such light golden hues from black teas. If anything, my first brew of Margaret’s Hope had very slightly more astringency but not high. Looking forward to a few more cups.
Received the Okayti Spring Chinary Black as part of my recent sampler pack & see it’s now sold out; glad I got one. I rate it a 4 with no complaint to this tea; just comparing to the breakfast blend & the Lopchu, which is more what I’m used to. My cup of Okayti brewed up a little darker than the website picture but still not as dark as some black teas. I’m not familiar with all the fruits listed in tasting notes but strangely enough, to my untrained nose from the American South (Ga.), smelling the brewed cup gave me a sense or memory of fresh corn (a good thing)! A very pleasant drink.
I was WAITING to have Teabox come up with something like this! My office doesn't have a chai option in or around it, and coffee in winters doesn't hit the spot like chai does! I've gifted this to busy friends in the US, and they loved it too!
This one brews up darker and a little stronger than the others tried so far in my black tea sampler pack. I'll keep experimenting with the steep - still not quite as strong as I was expecting, but again, new on this new level of tea freshness. I do love the Assams though. Also, the site says only one steep, but I got a decent second cup out of mine, so give it a try (maybe use a little less water if your strainer will still submerge the leaves) if you'd like to stretch the supply a bit. Working my way up to the Himalayan Wine and the straight Assam, which I'm really looking forward to.
Excited to broaden my tea experience with my first black tea sampler box. So far, not disappointed. I'll update with reviews on the other varieties tried but will start with the Castleton Spring Chinary Black. I'll say, having not studied ahead, I was surprised by the light golden hue & milder taste. My mind was telling me it was a green tea instead of a black tea with the first cup, but now a few cups in, I'm getting more of a black tea essence. I'll admit that my palate is not that trained or sophisticated, so can't yet claim some of the distinctions I see Teabox or others make in flavor notes but I'm working on it. ha-ha. Wish I had more time to sit and compare the other varieties directly rather than a day or two apart - maybe in time. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying my included glass mug, and knowing I'm getting a fresh, high-quality tea.
Omg,what a difference!!! What did I drink BEFORE😲Fabulous! It realky makes a difference, I'm really enjoying my tea time now. So aromatic❤️
I am not quite halfway through the first box as I have been drinking them one pouch at a time. So far I have been surprised by the ones I have enjoyed most. I picked some early to get them out of the way because I didn't think I would like them, and by the second cup, I found that I actually loved them. Today I started one that I thought would be my favourite and didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I expect that by tomorrow my tastebuds will have adjusted and I will love it as much as the ones I have already finished. The trial pack has been great for getting me to try blends I might not have chosen in large packs. I'm thoroughly enjoying the journey and always look forward to my 'tea-time'. I still drink bags first thing in the morning for convenience and so that I don't forget how much better these are. I would be interested to know which black tea is used in the chai pouches as it has a lovely flavour that isn't overwhelmed by the spices. Absolutely worth the investment.
The parchel from Teabox arrived well and safe.
A great looking functional teacup with leafkeeper and lid , 10 taste teabags of loose tea , green , black and breakfast . Very high quality tea , fragrant and gentle . A perfect breakfast tea to make a homemade chai off.
Great tea from the Himalaya .

I’ve never been a regular tea drinker, coffee has always been my choice. But in winter, it appeals to me.
I’ve recently changed my sleep habits and now wake up early. The gentle ritual of brewing tea on the stove, while standing and watching it swirl as it brews, is as calming and relaxing as my first sip. I haven’t tried them all, but immediately started with Wayanad Cardamom (a favourite taste), which is fabulous and I will be ordering. Punjabi Masala is also wonderful heat.
TeaBox may turn me into a certified tea drinker!
Next up will be the Ayurvedic samples because I want to try the sample kit of that as well.
Thank you for bringing the authentic taste of real teas brewed right, to Canada!
A lovely, refreshing blend. The hibiscus adds a gentle tartness while the lemongrass brings a bright, calming aroma. Light, soothing, and exactly how I like my tea — simple, fresh, and uplifting.
