While in Darjeeling.
It’s nearly time for the summer harvest and we found this photograph from our spring shoot. This is a small shop near Goomtee, one frequented by the tea garden workers. But what caught our eye was the garden. Flowers are popular here in the hills – every house, no matter how small, has a flower garden. Primroses and magnolias are popular. When magnolias bloom, you know spring has arrived!
