I've tried making chai from scratch probably five times... and every single attempt was a disaster too milky, too weak, or somehow bitter and bland at the same time. I basically gave up and assumed I just wasn't a "chai person." Tried this out of desperation and it's genuinely the first cup that tasted the way chai is supposed to.
