Full-bodied and velvety, the infusion coats the palate with a smooth, satisfying texture, while a lively briskness keeps the cup bright and refreshing. The finish is long and warming, with lingering hints of malt and soft cocoa that gracefully fade, inviting another sip.

Wonderful teas and chais

I am very happy I came across teabox on Facebook. It has allowed me to discover amazing black teas in their purest and freshest nature and wonderful chais with all strength of flavors. The Assam masala chai is just the most surprisingly and balanced blend of spices.

Pleasant Tea

I've been testing several Assam teas from Teabox. This one seems to be winning. Very pleasant taste for a black tea. Love it!

Great value for Malt Monsters

If you like loose leaf, classic malty Assam teas, this is a great value. Malty, with notes of Date and other fruits, this is our go to morning cup. Great with a little honey or agave syrup

Malty satisfying assam

This was my pick of the sampler pack. Better than much more expensive teas. Really good with raw sugar, complements the flavor palate.

Harmutty is my go-to...

Harmutty is my go-to morning tea because it's malty, strong, and perfect with toast and homemade marmalade. I brew it only 3-4 minutes to lessen the caffeine a bit but it still has plenty of aroma and flavor.

Delicious!

It has a full-bodied and complex flavour, fruity, lower tannin. Most enjoyable!

Nice tea

Very nice for any time of day

Smooth

I would like to state that I am not the biggest fan of Assam teas. The Harmutty Special Summer Black Tea produces has a very clean profile and a malty taste, characteristic of a good Assam tea. I steep it for 4-5 minutes at about 92C. It makes for a nice summer afternoon tea at work.

Harmutty Summer Tea

I look forward to my morning cup of Harmony Summer is a great Assam tea which I prepare with cardamom and milk. It's taste is smooth , soothing and full of pleasant woody notes which I love in the morning.

Hard to beat this tea!

Based on the reviews, I knew this tea would be good. Well, I was not disappointed at all. This tea is quite unique with a good balance and some honey taste left in your mouth. It is a great tea for winter, one of the best for sure.

perfect choice for breakfast

It‘s a strong tea with sweet tasting . But It's not too strong to copare with other kinds of assam tea. It's perfect choice for breakfast . I like drinking it without adding others. No adding milk or sugar.

Especially good with Meyer lemon

Smooth, strong, but not too strong, good everyday tea.
Love drinking it first thing in the morning with a small slice of Meyer lemon.

Balanced

A rare balance can be found in this tea, the body is well shaped with all possible angles well smoothed. Still without loosing personality; a bit of sweet can be also found in the very remote corner of the mouth.

Delightfully mellow afternoon treat

Taken with milk, this tea glides down smoothly leaving a sweet and nutty aftertaste.
Its balanced and gentle flavours make it an ideal afternoon or evening tea- especially considering its medium caffeine content.
Certainly my preferred choice for a mellower cup.

Excellent!

Very nice, light, slightly sweet and very smooth Assam.

Lovely 'lighter' Assam.

Not alot to add to other reviews, other than to suggest this to others who normally prefer Darjeeling-type teas, but would like to try something 'fuller'/heavier. This is not as chewy as many Assam teas and was lovely drunk plain with no milk or sugar, even after a full 5 minute steep. Leaves the mouth a little dry. One word sprung to mind... 'Toblerone'!! Yes, it has an innate sweetness and almondy nuttiness that reminded me of this chocolate!

Perfect Start to Morning

Although this is a summer assam, I perceive this tea as having more fall characteristics. Rather than the delicate and floral/honeyed taste of say the Chota Tingrai, this is your ever-faithful simple breakfast tea. A little more heavy-bodied and malty (as an assam should be) and does not become bitter with a proper 5-minute steep. Takes milk/sweetener without becoming bland. A little less expensive than some of the other summer assam teas recently purchased, this has become my automatic reach instead of coffee in the morning.

Nice Assam

The leaves have a pleasant toasty aroma and pretty gold flecks. This tea is a little more delicate than the classic full-bodied malty Assam. It probably depends on the steeping time, but I found it to be relatively low astringency. I enjoyed it both plain and with soy milk. Very pleasant sweetness and woody notes.

A good tea

Enjoyed it. I like assams occasionally. Always plain. This was a good tea and I enjoyed drinking it steeped at 4 minutes.

A solid Assam

This is an Assam that I've consistently revisited for many years. Teabox's offering is quite good as well. It is smooth and malty, as an Assam should be. The liquor lends itself well to milk, if you so choose.
One of the best things about this tea is that the flavor is sound whether one steeps it for 3 minutes or for a full 5 minutes. Nothing is lost on either extreme. 5 minutes is certainly a more pronounced flavor palate, but 3 minutes is quite nice as well.

Good Morning Tea

Use rounded teaspoon and steep for 5 minutes for a full-bodied smooth malty tea. Quite tasty-one of my favorites!

B

Good everyday tea

Nice flavor notes, and is smooth compared to some other assam teas I have tried. Only dislike is that it needs to steep a little longer then most other black teas to get the full flavor.

K

This is an anytime Tea for me

It was slightly stronger & more robust with a light sweetness than my Regular Assam teas. I was also surprised by the smoothness of the flavors.

Nice and strong Assam

This is an outstanding Tea
It is strong, but with a sort of round subtle aftertaste
Found it to become slighly bitter (in a good way) if steeped longer
