Established in 1973, Mangalam Tea Estate is nestled in the heart of Upper Assam's Sibsagar district, spanning 118 hectares. A pioneer in modern tea cultivation, it is among the few estates planted entirely with premium clonal varietals. With an 18-inch planting distance and a 2.6-foot plucking table, the estate supports an impressive 42,480 bushes per hectare, earning Mangalam acclaim for its radiant golden tips and exceptional Orthodox and CTC teas.

Situated at a slightly higher elevation than most gardens in the region, Mangalam's distinctive terroir lends remarkable depth and richness to its teas. The estate is thoughtfully laid out in one-acre sections, connected by wide footpaths and motorable roads that enable efficient operations and meticulous supervision, ensuring consistently high standards of quality.
