The Garden

Founded in 1875 by Dutch settlers along Assam's Sessa River, Dikom takes its name from the Bodo Kachari words for water and sweet, and once served as headquarters for a WWII signal battalion supporting the historic Flying Hump airlift.

Nearly 70 percent of its bushes are prized clones like P126A and N436, yielding teas of hallmark malty strength, layered complexity and a lingering natural sweetness.

Refreshing

Slight bit astringent taste if brewed for more than 3 minutes, but it definitely helps in keeping awake ... if one wants to enjoy proper black tea ,go for this tea...

Assams

I like your teas and always order the black assams. I’d been waiting for namsung summer to come back in stock but had to order without it so I’m trying some new ones and can’t report on how they suit me but we always like the Banaspaty. I also. Like your business profile, correspondence on the shipments and deliveries and condition of the teas when arrived. Very good service and quality teas!

Strong Assam, I love it

Of all the Assams I have tried from Teabox this has become my favorite. Nice malty and with those cocoa notes underneath. Not too astringent.
