Two years ago, I first encountered the Badamtam First Flush Black Tea. Its sophisticated aroma completely captivated me, and I found myself treasuring every gram throughout the year. Imagine my absolute delight when I discovered that Teabox released a limited edition of Badamtam White Tea this season.

Given its rarity, the price is as steep as the quantity is modest. Today, I carefully unsealed this precious tea for a private moment of indulgence. I prepared my favorite Noritake teapot and teacup, as I felt their timeless elegance would perfectly complement the subtle floral notes of the brew.

Truth be told, I was already half-intoxicated by the dizzying floral fragrance that filled the air during the steeping process. However, it was the first sip that truly compelled me to close my eyes in pure bliss.

Tasting Notes
• The Profile: A magnificent, feminine floral note reminiscent of peonies in full bloom.
• The Finish: Following the floral grandeur is a delicate, nutty undertone—much like the refined savoriness of a high-grade Woojeon green tea. It was a truly delightful surprise.

Having managed to secure only 25g, I am keenly aware that these moments of joy are limited. For my next session, I plan to invite my dearest tea companion to share in this exquisite experience.

This tea transported me to the spring of Darjeeling. The aroma and flavor were simply lovely and magnificent. I opened and brewed all three of these Darjeeling teas at spring tea gathering.

I’ve been a customer for 7 years, I have to say this is the best white tea you have offered so far. It’s delicate and subtle and yet the flavor comes through even in a second steeping.

I received my first order. Delighted- beautiful packing, lovely caddies, the tea is fantastic, no dust at the bottom of your tea. I bought the first spring flush limited edition, expensive but so worth it, as a little treat to myself. Nothing like a lovely cup of special tea, and a moment of calm, bliss. Keep up the great work. The only negative was delivery, longer than I expected, but wait was worth it.

It's hard to describe this tea! Yes it is very/too expensive yes it is produced 3-4 kilograms per year but the taste is unforgettable! The aroma and aftertaste remained for a long time after the first cup. Subsequent brews were not so much admired. Summary: Yes, tea is not for every day, but definitely worth a try!

Each has its own personality and is delicious, but this tea was my favorite.

Best tea I have ever had from Darjeeling. I steeped this tea for five times, first steep was very floral, second steeped at 6 minutes it was fruity like a mix of Lemon juice and pineapple, Third steep again at 6 minutes it was like fresh vegetables with hints of Floral and fruity characters, fourth steep at 5 minutes it was like cooked corns with sweet under notes and fifth steep was still sweet and hints of fresh veggies. Surely a rare pick and a connoisseurs delight.

"Today I am reviewing what could possibly be the tea of the century. I have never bought such as expensive tea ever before, so I was skeptical whether it was really worth it. And boy, did it deliver!
I have never tasted a Darjeeling white which had a subtle after taste of my favorite fruit on the planet – the Indian Alphonso Mango. This white tea delivers this flavor in bags-full. It is subtle, yet bursting with flavor. I steeped it 3 times at 70 deg Celsius water and easily got 3 brilliant infusions out if it at 4, 5 and 6 minutes per each succeeding infusion. Brilliant, mind-blowing, there aren’t enough adjectives to describe this unbelievable tea.
Being so expensive, I have to restrain myself and use this only on those “special” days when I want to feel like a king. Possibly the best Darjeeling tea I ever tasted. Overall rating 9.6/10."

This tea shows a good complexity, some precise flavors and a great evolution from cup to cup without losing intensity! I had three cups. First is full of flowers, in particular geranium. In a second cup, flowers start to fade and exotism is more present. Third cup is just about mango (I did not expect such an amazing third cup). That kind of tea is very unusual for Darjeeling and cannot be missed by Darjeeling lovers.

The downy buds are just as beautiful to look at as they are to taste. Sweet aromas of fresh tropical fruit and herbs. Finishes with a subtle astringency that tickles the tongue, but not a hint of bitterness. Very generous, the leaves continue to yield flavour after 5+ brews. Among the best teas I've ever tasted.
