The Happy Valley Tea Estate in Darjeeling has a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century. Established in 1854, it is one of the oldest and most iconic tea estates in the region. Originally known as Wilson Tea Estate, it was later renamed Happy Valley in the early 20th century.

The estate is situated on the picturesque slopes of Darjeeling, at an altitude ranging from 1800 to 6800 feet above sea level. Its location provides the ideal conditions for tea cultivation, with misty mountains, cool temperatures, and well-drained soil contributing to the unique flavor and aroma of its teas.
