As the story goes, when auctioneers in London first tasted teas from Rangdoo, they simply remarked, “OK”—a modest yet memorable endorsement that led to the estate being fondly renamed “Okayti.” Since then, it has stood as a symbol of exceptional quality and the timeless character of Darjeeling.
