Tasting Notes
From our Chief Tea Taster
Aroma
Lifted notes of stone-fruit with hints of mandarin and nutty-woody accents
Appearance
Orange Amber
Taste
A medium-bodied, crisp cup which opens on a delicious register of stone-fruits, evocative of nectarines and gradually opens up to reveal a distinct nutty-woody texture towards the middle. Soft citrusy whispers of mandarin orange are discernible along the edges, rendering greater depth, variety and rounded feel on the palate.
Muted tones of cedar shore up towards the finish which however subside to finish on a clean, sweet aftertaste, making for an exquisite Autumnal black from this renowned plantation.
