Darjeeling Giddapahar Summer Muscatel Black

This is truly my favorite tea! I have at least 6 cups a day. It is flavorful and robust. I enjoy it with a little sweetener, although it is also delicious alone.

Being a tea-lover I rely on black tea for their exotic taste each time. I've tired out so many different vendors but Teabox is different I must say. They delivers exactly the same as they promise unlike others.
When I pour the tea I prefer just to sit back and enjoy till the very last drop of it - nothing else! When I take the first sip, it comes with a refreshing punch and then with a nutty - fruity taste it leaves a mellow honey like sweetness in your mouth. You can't go wrong with this tea. I followed your directions- put 1.5!.tsp and not two. I steeped it for 3 min - not five. It came out really good without the bitterness

I was in Darjeeling in December 2021 and when buying tea as gifts for friends and relatives, I happened to be introduced to the 2nd flush of Giddhapahar tea leaves by the salesgirl. When I travelled back to Kolkata and brewed my first cup of tea I had a mind-blowing experience. It was the best Darjeeling I had tasted! Unfortunately I had only bought 100g of the tea leaves which soon ran out just before i returned to the UK. I searched the net to see if I could get hold of these tea leaves in the UK and chanced upon the Teabox website. The delivery was prompt and quick and I have been relishing this tea everyday since then. I am going to be a long term customer of Teabox and will try their recommended teas in the future.

My first muscatel started off with an amazing deep aroma that hinted of dark bitter sweet chocolate and woody oak. A simple black tea flavor that was moderate, not very strong and just a a little tart. I enjoyed this very much,

This tea is fruity, sweet and has a nice aroma when dry. I also liked the aroma when steeped, where you can notice the different aspects of it. There is an array of different flavors that come out in the taste which made it quite interesting.

The aroma is fresh. The liquor is clean, well rounded, and balanced throughout. It is sweet with a great touch of pleasant astringency. Also, a light fruitiness with just a touch of sweetness, reminding one of the musky scent of ripe mangos. The aroma is like a bouquet of flowers. Smooth, delicate with a intricate honey like sweetness, the tea is characteristic of wonderful aroma of sweet fruits with absolutely no astringency. The leaves are majestic and fluffy with a wiry texture, beaming with long silver tips and the liquor is golden. A wonderful choice for a morning tipple.

A good muscatel tea,having strong muscate aroma, slight astrigent. Typical muscatel with reasonable price.

Full and well rounded, very smooth and with a hint of plum. Definitely taste that touch of fire, which is a slight smokiness on the palate.

Last tasting of the Enthusiast July box! Complex hues of brown bearing green, red or even purple make it a delight to open the bag. Dry aromas are brisker than the other two teas, definitely on the woody side with a further inclination towards berries like blackberry. The cup boasts a golden brown dress with copper reflections after 4min steeping at 85°C with low-mineral water. Tastewise, I found this garden the darker of the three, although still sweet with just the right amount of tannins (astringency depends 90% on the water you choose) and notes of plum and cherry on top of roasted hazelnut. Today was a very happy morning!
