Havukal Special Winter Frost Black Tea
This well-rolled winter special is mildly aromatic, has raw fruity notes with floral character.
During the winters, only the Nilgiris make tea and because of the low temperatures the growth of the teas are subdued. This produces leaves with concentrated flavors exclusive to the winter frost teas. The strong flavors in this cup are truly complementary to the full and brisk body of the liquor. Raw fruity notes make way for the more fragrant and sweet floral impressions. The sweetness heightens toward the end and leads on to milder leafy note followed by a bright cool melon-like flavor. A perfect cup to brighten a cold winter day.
Marked by notes of aromatic white flowers, fresh nuts, fern, hints of melon rind and silver oaky nuances
Well-rolled, slightly bold blackish leaves, some with odd brown hues and a scattering of bright green leaf cuttings
Mildly aromatic, redolent of wintergreen oil and vegetal
Long, broad olive green leaves with tender stems
