    KNOW YOUR TEA

Situated in the wilderness of the Himalayas, near a quaint mountain town called Kurseong this revered tea estate, established in 1864, was earlier known as Bara Rington. Close to the northern valley of Darjeeling, famous for its bloom of white orchids, the picturesque garden is spread across 361 hectares, with two rivers flowing through it and with a breathtaking view of the Himalayan ranges. We have traveled to this iconic tea estate to sample this freshly made Indian single estate tea. Medium-bodied, brisk with notes of peach and shelled nuts, experience a splendid cup of Indian Summer Harvest 2022!

A medium-bodied, bright-liquoring cup which instantly commands your attention with luscious fruity-woody flavors. Playful tones of peach intertwined with oaky notes coat the palate right at the start and resonate throughout the length of the liquor. Towards the middle, delectable flavors of Mirabelle plum joined with velvety accents of shelled nuts are discernible; rendering greater depth and distinct texture to the cup. Muted musky tones shore up towards the finish which gradually ebb to finish on tart-fruity flavors akin to red berries, making for an unforgettable experience of Summer chinary black teas from this fabled tea estate.
