It is a beautiful tea but has a different after taste than the spring Chinary one.

It has all that I look for in a tea. Its smoky just so, its elegant just so, its sophisticated just so. Its the kind of tea which makes me choose tea over my coffee. This is my current addiction
I've tried muscatel from various tea estates, and I find all of them to have a similarly good taste. However, it's important to be careful when steeping, as the quantity and time need to align, otherwise, it can result in a bitter flavor.
I was eager to try this. The freshness counts when sipping this familiar tea. One of the best I've tasted, and I drink a lot of tea!

I get acidity with strong black teas. That's when Teabox's team suggested that I should go for Darjeeling Margaret's Hope Summer Chinary Black which is medium in its caffeine content. I must say it's an incredible tea which doesn't cause me any acidity. Taste-wise, it has a milder and yet a very good taste.
I always thought tea that mix with milk came from the Pekoe family. But now I know Margaret's Hope Chinary Black is also at par with the said family, if not better, it has distinctively non-floral taste.
It is a good second flush. Good aroma and body as well. You might get a bitter taste if you steep it too long.

Let me start this off by admitting that I am not tasting this under the most ideal tea-making circumstances. The joys of drinking tea at work.
It has a very nice dark amber color in the cup, and a very light pleasant aroma. I found this to be pretty astringent, with a strong mineral taste with a hint of the well-known muscatel. to, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
This offering from the famed Margaret's Hope estate does not disappoint. Slightly astringent, nice muscatel, lovely deep amber infusion. I like to start my day with this one; it is one of my go-to teas for the morning.
This is an exquisite tea and a longtime favorite of mine. In the last two years, however, the Margaret's Hope that I have purchased locally in the U.S. and online from a number of merchants has been, sadly, inferior and definitely not the real thing. But my search is now over. Thank you, Teabox, for this lovely, authentic Margaret’s Hope Darjeeling. You have gained a loyal customer.
