One of the first Second Flush teas this summer, Oaks makes the mark with this classic chinary. Its delightful aroma of dried berries and oak wood are inviting and leads you into a brisk start. The liquor is medium-bodied with soft woody flavors that open up for sweet, fruity notes of red berries and fresh apricot. Toward the end, crisp notes of dried figs mixed with nuanced nuttiness give depth and texture to the cup. The aftertaste is made of subtle earthy hints.
