Tasting Notes

From our Chief Tea Taster
Submit
Aroma
Deep and inviting, with layers of toasted oak and caramel malt, softened by the luscious sweetness of ripe muscat grapes and a gentle hint of cinnamon spice.
Appearance
Light Amber
Taste
A medium-bodied dram of quiet authority. It opens with a generous malty richness on the nose — rounded and warming, with none of the sharp edges one might expect. The spirit coats the palate with real generosity, building structure and warmth from the first sip.

At its heart, this is unmistakably shaped by the Darjeeling influence. The signature muscatel character arrives mid-palate — a lively, gently tart brightness that feels alive rather than sweet, layered with dried raisin, mellow wood, and a soft suggestion of vanilla that keeps the whole thing composed. Toasted oak threads through the finish with a faint wisp of smokiness — understated, never dominant.

The finish is where this expression earns its distinction. Fruit-forward notes soften gradually into something clean and gently warming. Ripe grape, light caramel, and subtle wood linger long after the glass is down, resolving into a whisper of warmth — refined, measured, and thoroughly unhurried.
