Darjeeling Classic Summer Chinary Black Tea

description

It is the tannins and the woody notes that lend structure to this tea, with the former playing a more prominent role. The flavors of anise and wood come together in perfect harmony, made buoyant by the tannins and tree fruit notes.

A nice boost to really wake you up in the morning.

The dry leaves have the darjeeling look to them and the beautiful red-brown colour really awakens your senses. This one also has a kitchen garden taste to it (like the Teabox Classic Darjeeling Summer Black) though it has a much more intense taste with the spicey basil note more pronounced. I prefer it with sugar and it is a magnificent way to start your day. The intense (not to beconfused with invasive) taste magnifies my focus and really wakes me up. Though I prefere mellow tastes when I'm still in mid-sleep, this one is my favourite when I wake up full of energy even though it is "medium caffine".
