Excellent mild chai

Likes : Smooth Body.

Best Served : Anytime.

I liked this tea much more than I expected to. I’m not a fan of tulsi in tea, but the basil flavor is so mild as to be almost unnoticeable. The ginger isn’t too harsh or overwhelming, but has a warm, rounded flavor. The strongest note is cinnamon. Very mild on the spice-level for a chai, but an excellent tea. Flavors: Cinnamon, Ginger, Grass, Herbaceous

Strong and spicy tisane

Likes : Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Strong.

Best Served : Anytime.

Unique combination makes for an unusual tisane. Ginger dominates here, tulsi adds herbaceous notes. Sweeteners and milk are certainly a good addition and help moderate the bold flavours.

Spicy

Likes : Great Aroma.

This tea is strongly spicy. I do not dislike it, but it really does not seem like a tea to drink while the weather is warm.

Strong spicy flavor goes well with a strong dessert, like mint or heavy chocolate

I like Tulsi Tea, ginger and Chai tea on their own so I had to try this combo. It did not disappoint.

If tea were candy, this chai would be chocolate. The taste is light and rich at the same time. I love love love this chai.

Makes for a better morning tea rather than afternoon

Likes : Freshness, Smooth Body.

Dislikes : Weak.

Best Served : Morning.

Received this as part of my monthly teabox subscription. Was intrigued by this as I have had tulsi ginger chais before and wanted to make sure the taste of ginger wouldnt overwhelm This is a great tea - with no strong flavours - or rather any one flavour overpowering the other. Allow it to steep 1-2 minutes longer than the recommended time, if you like a full flavoured tea

Well, I happen to love ginger, and I love tulsi. Those are the only ingredients in this caffeine-free tea, so I think it's wonderful! It is a lovely combination- flavorful but not overwhelming.

Perfect for afternoon/evening

Of the many Teabox samples I have tasted, Tulsi Ginger is my first choice. This tea was made for me. I love the astringency, flavor, and smoothness. It's delicious w/a very nice aroma.

I prefered the Tulsi green tea

Likes : Freshness, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Bitter if Over-Steeped.

Best Served : Anytime, Morning.

While the tea is good for you I felt the combination of green tea also available in the sample box worked better. There is a lot of Ginger which I love, but I think ginger needs a sweetness that wouldn't work with the rest of this mix

Very good for digestion

Best Served : Evening.

I like to drink this tea after a heavy meal. The ginger really helps when I experience any type of indigestion. The flavor is very strong of basil and ginger and it is a very relaxing combination that should usually be saved for right before bed.

We enjoy at least two tea breaks a day and always choose this tea...it is delicious...it comes up sweet w/a very little amount of sugar added...I don't know how to describe it except to say that it is delightful, the entire family enjoys it

Great for evenings or after meals

Likes : Freshness, Unique Flavor Profile.

Dislikes : Weak.

Best Served : Evening.

This herbal blend was a nice surprise in my sampler of chai teas. This simple, mild-tasting blend has a spicy ginger flavor that blends unexpectedly well with the tulsi. It tastes very fresh and clean, and there is no trace of the bitterness I have occasionally observed in other tulsi teas. This is a nice tea to drink on a cold evening before bed, as a digestive aid after a large meal, or as a soothing tea when you have a cold. It brews up to a pale yellow, and I was able to get two good steeps from the same leaves before the flavor became too weak.
