Margaret's Hope Classic Spring Black Tea
A mellow and subtly brisk Darjeeling cup with lifted fruity notes and smooth green undercurrents.
From the several batches we tasted, this one came up on top easily. Its vibrant aromas catch on to you right from the start and turn into superlative flavors as it hits the palate. With a mellow yet ample liquor, the sharpness of the cup is enjoyable. Dominant fruity notes like muskmelons and mandarins liven up the experience right from the start and stay on throughout. It gains a certain depth with brief subtle green undertones mixed with raw fruity hints. A nutty finish gives way to reveal an especially high note of citron that is definitely unique.
Leafy, fresh walnuts, hint of caramel along with light, flowery-woody intonations of fragrant ivy
Tightly rolled, blackish-green leaves interspersed with olive-green open leaves and few short black, untwisted leaves
Fresh-smelling; marked by light floral notes along with vegetal, earthy and uplifting yuzu accents
Fully open, small, dark green leaves; some with cut stems and coppery hues
