Delightful chai, as with all the teabox chai blends- perfectly balanced flavours with no single flavour overpowering the pallet. Not as complex as some other blends, but a wonderful all day chai

You would never think such a complex flavour could come from just a few ingredients! This bold tea is full of taste and is a real treat in the morning. I like it the most sweetened and with a splash of almond milk.

This is a pretty good chai. It's not terribly spicy (a little light, to be truthful), but if that's what you're looking for, it's quite tasty.

Very good! Strong, malty, fragrant, rich and spicy. Takes sweeteners, milk, cream and butter very well. A classic!

Fragrant and satisfying chai

Likes : Great Aroma.

Best Served : Morning, Evening.

The chai blend expectedly effuses sweet aroma of cardomom and warm ginger on the nose. The lingering taste of fennel is apparent in the end. Tastes satisfyingly good with a hint of sugar and milk.

Nice "wake up" Tea

Likes : Great Aroma, High Quality.

Dislikes : Strong.

Best Served : Morning.

I love the combination of flavours though I think it's a little too strong for my tastes. I prefer to cut the amount of tea down just a little so that I'm still getting the kick I need but without overpowering my palate.

Very solid medium-grade Chai.

Likes : Smooth Body.

This Chai has a great aroma and holds up well to being brewed a few times. I like to drink it with a splash of milk and it the resulting cloudy tea is a joy to both look at and drink. I have tried this tea a few times already and I seem to like it a little more each time. This tea smells like fennel very strong when first you open the bag and the tea flavor is totally unlike any tea that I have tried before. This is a really high-quality tea that you can easily tell took a lot of effort to produce. I enjoy drinking this tea at any time during the day, but I feel that it best served in the morning. I love the strong notes of ginger; I think it really makes the texture of the tea smooth.

I love this tea, it has such a wonderful combination of flavours and strong taste that so well reflects the complex cultures of the Indian subcontinent and brings my memories back to my travels to that part of the world.

Clean, crisp Chai with a punch

Best Served : Morning, Afternoon.

This Chai combines high quality Assam with a perfect combination of spices. The prominent (but not at all overwhelming) presence of fennel makes it very unique. The strong CTC renders a beautiful dark amber color and is slightly bitter on the palate.

Bombay Cutting Chai is bold & unique, the type of chai I prefer best. It packs that punch I was looking for a long time. Clean and fresh taste, it's just excellent and puts me in a happy mood each time I drink it.

Unique and Bitter-free

The addition of fennel to the usual chai spices gives this tea a unique aroma and flavor. The scent of fennel on the dry leaves is very strong, but the scent and flavor blend much more evenly in the brewed tea. Smooth, no bitterness. A nice little twist on the standard chai, great for warming up on a cold morning.

I received this as a sample in my last order and I wish I had ordered it. Some Chai tea can become bitter easily and with this blend all of the spices came through with no bitter taste. Also enjoyed the fennel spice in this blend- something that made this Chai unique.

Not Too Boisterous....Juuuuuust Right.

Likes : Great Aroma.

Best Served : Morning.

This is more of a "gentle" chai...not the kind that wakes you up by banging on the lid of a is like waking up at your mother's home on a holiday, when you smell the cooking of a familiar dish from the kitchen... There isn't an overwhelming amount of ginger in this blend ~ just enough to match the fragrance and taste of the fennel and cardamom. When made with milk, it is a beautiful and subtle chai.

I Love Cutting Chai

Because I needed to cut down on coffee, I decided to try the Cutting Chai Tea because of its bold color and its description. Once I brewed Cutting Chai and sipped the flavor, I was hooked. I like it most because it is a bold tea with a wonderful flavor and aromatic aroma. Perhaps, it's the cardamon; I'm unsure but I know that it leaves me feeling the flavor even after the tea break is over. I steep it for three minutes and I add Florida crystals to it, nothing more. This will be among my favorite breakfast teas.
