Glendale Exotic Winter Frost Green Tea

description

A hallmark green tea, this one feels reassuring on so many levels. Its flavors are superbly warm, smooth and full, but not jarring. There is a good balance of flavors and the tea flow incredibly easily throughout the palate. Perfect for refreshing a balmy afternoon.

Predominantly vegetal in the attack which fades to reveal a clean, white flower nuance.

Straw

taste

A fresh, green mouth attack, close to the flavor of fresh spinach, starts the cup. The liquor flows smoothly but turns abrasive if the leaves are steeped too long. A brightness appears towards the end, reminiscent of white flowers and unripe tree fruit. It's a straightforward tea; what it lacks in complexity, it makes up in ease of drinking.

good but simple

As described it is a straightforward tea, very light. Important to note that it requires more leaves than some others. I found that adding even more leaves than recommended accentuated the floral element.
