Gopaldhara Special Autumn Clonal Black Tea
A mellow Darjeeling cup with bright tones of delicious fruits and subtle woody undercurrents.
Another rare autumn cup from Darjeeling. This one has a tart-fruity aroma with hints of sweetness that stimulates your olfactory right from the start. As you sip, fruity notes stand out delectably making the cup bright and alive. The liquor is medium-bodied and mostly mellow. A mild crispness and a sweet floral character emerges induced by fruity notes similar to white peaches. The cup gains another layer of depth and color as woody flavors form a nuanced backdrop and delightful hints of apricots show up. The cup ends with a perfect finish of soft candied fruits.
Lifted notes of macadamia nuts, fresh walnut, carob, dry wood with sweet spicy intonations
Tightly rolled, short, blackish leaves interspersed with some coppery tips and dark brown cut leaves
Quite aromatic, redolent of ripe tropical fruits, nectarines interlaced with notes of precious incense and waxy red flowers
Mix of short, coppery-brown leaves and odd open, long emerald-green leaves
